I am participating in an online group called the Artist Way. We are in week four of twelve. Every week you are supposed to have an artist date with yourself. It can be anything. Something you haven't done in forever, going to the dollar store and buying silly stuff, going to a park, taking a walk, eating ice cream and reading a book, anything.


Last week my artist date was drawing birds--something I like to do, but haven't done in some time. It is ink over pencil on a kind of cheap vellum that goes quite transparent with Golden medium and can be used in collage. Eventually it will become part of something larger, but for now, here it is.
